We offer authentic British early years education from an NNEB-certified nanny with 40+ years experience. We specialize in allergy-safe care, expert potty training (I wrote the book!), and maintain a screen-free environment with maximum 5 children for personalized attention.
We maintain a completely nut-free facility and follow safe food handling practices for all children. I will administer EpiPens if authorized by parents and have extensive experience managing severe allergies. We follow strict protocols, check all labels, and have emergency plans in place. Many parents choose us specifically for our allergy management expertise.
I use the proven methods from my published book "The British Nanny's Guide to Potty Training." My approach is patient, positive, and adapted to each child's readiness. I coordinate with parents to ensure consistency between home and daycare.
While located in Barrhaven, we serve all of Western Ottawa including Nepean, Kanata, Bells Corners, Westboro, Britannia, Bayshore, Crystal Beach, Centrepointe, and Merivale. Parents drive from across the region for our specialized care.
We're open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Our rate is $55 per day with no drop-in service - we maintain committed families only for consistency and quality care.

We operate as a legal home daycare in Ontario caring for 5 children. While not licensed by the Ministry, we maintain the highest professional standards through my NNEB qualification from the UK - a rigorous two-year government-regulated certification in childcare. With over 40 years of experience and as a published childcare author, I provide exceptional care that exceeds many licensed facilities. Our small group size ensures personalized attention and quality that larger centers simply cannot match.
Children experience authentic British early years traditions including structured learning with play, emphasis on manners and etiquette, outdoor "garden" time, story time traditions, and yes - they naturally pick up delightful British expressions!
We focus on hands-on learning, creative play, books, outdoor activities, and real-world experiences. No tablets, TVs, or digital devices - just traditional childhood activities that foster imagination and social skills.
We provide healthy, allergy-safe snacks. Parents typically provide lunch. All food is carefully managed with our strict allergy protocols, especially in our nut-free environment.
